Technical Sales Consultant – Huawei Digital Power

In the Netherlands, ALSO operates from Nijmegen and Nieuwegein. But you can also just work from home for part of your time if you want.
The job in short
In this position you work independently, within a small but driven team, mainly for the Benelux region and Germany. An important part of the position is to provide technical advice and support to our resellers, installers and their end users in the field of solar energy inverters and energy storage (batteries) from the Huawei portfolio that we offer.
Your main tasks & duties
• Providing (technical) support and advice on sustainable energy solutions in the field of solar inverters and battery storage to (sales) colleagues within the ALSO Group.
• Supporting sales colleagues in pre- and after-sales of the solutions and concepts we offer.
• Technical point of contact and advisor for our resellers, installers, and their end customers.
• Stay informed of relevant market developments and the latest products.
• Participation in events (trainings, fairs, roadshows, after-business meetings, and further training measures, including certification workshops).
Your profile:
• You have (at least) a completed MBO education (in Electrical Engineering).
• You have a number of years of technical work experience in the energy sector (for example as an installer of solar panels).
• You have some knowledge of the energy sector (solar energy and energy storage) and would like to delve deeper into this.
• You have a commercial approach/commercial affinity and enjoy dealing and communicating with customers.
• You have good oral and written skills in the Dutch and English language.
• It is an advantage if you also master the German and/or French language.
• You have technical insight and are creative.
• You are driven to do good work.
• You are eager to learn, enthusiastic and customer oriented.
• You can work independently.
• You have the willingness to travel.
