Technical Pre-Sales Specialist, Cyber Security

Purpose of the Role

As a Technical Pre-Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of one of ALSO's strategic cybersecurity vendors across the Swedish channel ecosystem. You will act as the technical expert for partners and internal sales teams, helping drive partner engagement, solution adoption, and business growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience from the IT industry, preferably within cybersecurity, networking, or software solutions
  • Technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or channel-focused experience
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
  • University or college degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • A valid driver's license (B)

Valuable Experience

Experience from cybersecurity vendors, distributors, or channel partners will be highly valued, particularly from companies such as:

  • Sophos
  • WatchGuard
  • Clavister
  • Fortinet
  • Palo Alto Networks
  • Check Point
  • Trend Micro
  • ESET
  • Barracuda

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical pre-sales expert for a leading cybersecurity vendor
  • Support partners throughout the sales cycle, from solution design to presentation and deployment planning
  • Deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, and enablement sessions
  • Collaborate closely with the vendor, partner managers, and ALSO sales teams to drive channel growth
  • Develop and execute partner recruitment and activation plans
  • Build technical relationships with key partners and customers
  • Support business planning, forecasting, and pipeline development
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, products, and competitive positioning
  • Help position ALSO as the preferred distributor and growth partner in the cybersecurity market
