Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products across UI, API, and data layers.

• Build and maintain end-to-end UI automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress
• Develop test frameworks from scratch tailored to project needs
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman
• Validate data integrity using SQL queries against relational databases
• Apply best practices in test automation strategies, including Page Object Model, data-driven testing, and use of fixtures
• Collaborate closely with developers, manual QA engineers, and product owners
• Mentor junior QA team members and support their growth in automation practices

• UI Automation Frameworks (Playwright, Cypress): 3+ years
• Test Framework Development: 3+ years
• JavaScript Proficiency: 3+ years
• CI/CD Integration (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions): 2+ years
• API Testing (Postman): 2+ years
• Test Automation Strategies & Patterns: 2+ years
• SQL & Data Validation in Relational Databases: 2+ years

• Experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Bamboo, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions (YAML)
• API automation tools: Newman, REST Assured, or similar
• Programming experience in C# or Java
• Familiarity with test management tools: Xray, Zephyr, TestRail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
• Experience mentoring junior or manual QA engineers
• Open to learning and adapting to new technologies as the stack evolves
