We’re looking for a GitHub PreSales Specialist who can bridge deep technical insight with sharp presales execution. Someone who can inspire developers, guide partners, and showcase the power of GitHub Copilot and GitHub Enterprise across the ALSO ecosystem.
This is a senior technical, customer‑facing role where you become the go‑to expert for GitHub within ALSO — shaping adoption, running demos, accelerating deals, and enabling the partner ecosystem in multiple countries.

Your Role
Technical PreSales & Solution Design
- Act as the GitHub technical presales expert for partners and customers
- Lead technical discovery sessions, solution positioning, and presales engagements
- Design and position GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Copilot solutions aligned to real development workflows
- Support opportunity qualification with strong technical credibility
Demos, Workshops & Enablement
- Deliver high‑impact GitHub Copilot demos and technical workshops
- Run hands‑on sessions on:
- Developer productivity
- Secure software development
- AI‑assisted coding and workflows
- Support partners and customers through proof‑of‑value and early adoption phases
Sales & Partner Collaboration
- Work closely with local ALSO sales teams to support ongoing opportunities
- Enable partners (ISVs, software developers, resellers) to position and sell GitHub confidently
- Address technical objections and guide deployment considerations
- Act as the technical bridge between sales teams, partners, Microsoft, and GitHub
Program & FY26 Execution
- Execute GitHub FY26 priorities across ALSO markets
- Drive GitHub Copilot adoption and developer productivity scenarios
- Support GitHub & Microsoft GTM initiatives and campaigns
- Help build repeatable presales motions and technical playbooks
What You Bring
Must‑have
- Experience in technical presales, solution consulting, or developer advocacy
- Strong understanding of software development workflows
- Hands‑on understanding of:
- GitHub Enterprise
- GitHub Copilot
- CI/CD and DevOps concepts
- Strong communication skills — able to explain complex topics clearly
- Excellent facilitation and demo experience
- Comfortable working across multiple countries and partner environments
Nice‑to‑have
- Experience with Azure DevOps or Azure platform integration
- Background in partner‑led or channel‑driven sales models
- Knowledge of secure development, governance, or compliance
- GitHub or Microsoft certifications
- Additional European languages
