Outsourcing Delivery Lead

Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented Outsourcing Delivery Lead to represent ALSO Platform Development in all interactions with external development partners. In this role, you will ensure that outsourced delivery aligns with ALSO frameworks, meets agreed quality standards, and delivers tangible business value. You will act as the key liaison between internal product/technical owners and external vendors, combining delivery management, negotiation, and product ownership practices. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Represent ALSO Platform Development in all outsourced engagements, ensuring adherence to Outsource Guidelines and Delivery Package standards. 

  • Manage end-to-end outsourced delivery lifecycle, including partner identification, RFI/RFP preparation, proposal evaluation, and contract negotiation. 

  • Oversee delivery execution by external teams, ensuring predictable outcomes, compliance with architectural standards, and fulfillment of business capabilities. 

  • Ensure that all delivery packages include required documentation, source code, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and operational runbooks before acceptance. 

  • Act as the primary escalation point for delivery issues, risks, and dependencies; drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Facilitate regular communication with partners (weekly check-ins, progress reviews, escalation management). 

  • Align outsourced development outcomes with ALSO’s business strategy, ensuring that deliverables support long-term product goals. 

  • Track and report on key delivery KPIs such as predictability, quality gates (SonarQube/SonarCloud), test coverage, and SLA adherence 

  • Negotiate with partners on scope, cost, and timelines while safeguarding ALSO’s strategic, values-driven goals and financial interest balance. 

  • Ensure full cycle of budget management: baselining, confirm with internal stakeholder and monitor spending versus actual value  

  • Drive continuous improvement in outsourcing practices, leveraging lessons learned to refine frameworks and guidelines. 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in outsourcing delivery management or vendor engagement within a technology-driven organization. 

  • Full E2E Project management experience and certification as benefit 

  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, Agile delivery, and product ownership principles. 

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, manage partner relationships, and ensure compliance with delivery frameworks. 

  • Familiarity with tools and practices: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps (Git, CI/CD pipelines). 

  • Understanding of architecture compliance, cybersecurity, GDPR, and software quality assurance practices. 

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills. 

  • Ability to balance business priorities with vendor capabilities, ensuring predictable and sustainable outcomes.
