About the role
As an HR Business Partner at ALSO, you will be the primary HR sparring partner for the management in Spain and an important part of an international HR organization. ALSO is organized as a matrix organization, where you work closely with both local managers and the international HR setup.
You will be part of ALSO's HR Center of Competence (CoC), where you, together with HR colleagues across countries:
- Discuss complex HR issues
- Share knowledge, best practice and experience
- Set common goals and contributes to the development of HR processes and initiatives
The role is a coaching role, where you both have overall responsibility for the HR area locally and at the same time are very hands-on in all HR administrative processes.
Your primary responsibilities
You will have a broad and business-oriented HR role with, among other things:
- Overall responsibility for HR in Spain and ensuring legal and high quality in HR deliveries
- Close advice and culture building together with managers in the organization
- Contribute to recruitment of sales, IT and specialist profiles – from clarification of needs to contract
- Onboarding and offboarding employees in an organization with a high level of competence
- Performance management, appraisals and talent development
- Handling of employee cases, including well-being, absence, disciplinary cases and resignations
- Salary and terms of employment in accordance with local requirements and ALSO's guidelines
- Dialogue and collaboration with employee representatives, authorities and other stakeholders
- Implementation and anchoring of HR policies, processes and global HR initiatives
- Managing local HR tasks such as benefits, training, and HR-related data
Who are you?
We imagine that you:
- Have bachelor's degree in HR, economics, organizational psychology or other relevant education
- Have solid experience from a broad HR role, preferably as an HR Business Partner in other knowledge-intensive company
- Thrives in a hands-on role and takes natural responsibility for both operational and tactical HR tasks
- Has experience with labor law and collective agreements
- Have a strong business understanding and can translate HR into concrete value
- Have solid knowledge of HR processes, HR tools and labor law
- Communicates professionally and in a trustworthy manner in both Spanish and English
- Works structured, independent and with high integrity
- Are pragmatic, solution-oriented and have a natural service and collaboration approach
