The SureStep Partner Specialist for Fabric is responsible for driving Fabric acquisition with partners in the indirect ecosystems.
Profile
Azure Fabric sellers need high level of drive to hunt for new business/customers in the indirect business with partners. A successful hunter needs to be results oriented, driven and excel in working in a dynamic sales environment. The seller need to have ability to pitch and understand Azure Fabric ecosystem and value proposition to Partners and their customers to enable sales to new customers.
Function Scope
• Identify and work with a selection of partners to build an Analytics/Fabric practice. Targeted partner outreach to gain reseller commitment (gives/gets) to building an Analytics/Fabric practice, build, marketing, product and sales capabilities in selected resellers.
• Utilize Microsoft targeting tools like Cloud Ascent and programs and offers (like Campaign in a Box, , X in a Day Partner-led Workshops or Data & AI Industry Dream Demos) to drive new customer conversations and identify Analytics opportunities with, amongst others, existing Power BI customers, existing Azure customers and (on-prem) SQL Customers.
• Implement a Rhythm of Business with resellers and local Microsoft stakeholders to ensure consistent engagement and performance tracking
• Drive Partner outreach through all available media (email, Teams, social media and phone), excellent communication skills, ability to promote offers and campaigns, able to drive excitement for Microsoft and Indirect Provider partnership opportunity
Role Description
• Drive Fabric channel acquisition and activation to service SMB customers at scale
• Consult resellers on Designations; Lead blitz weeks/webinars for acquisition; Stimulate RFY activities with low performing resellers
• Ensure resellers are leveraging incentives. Align impact of Top Resellers with the Co-op investments of the Indirect Providers
• Provides reseller assistance if needed in qualifying opportunity and customer wins
• Use Cloud Ascent data and drive GTM execution with partners
• Mandatory attendance of Microsoft driven SureStep events like SureStep Summits and Bootcamps
• Represent Microsoft by earning the Pitch Perfect Badge for Fabric
Role Qualifications
• Passion for technology, always learning attitude and growth mindset are more relevant than having the highest degrees in place
• Required fluency in English. Preferred fluency in a second language.
• +1 year of work experience in a sales/marketing role in the IT business.
• Preferably experience working at a Data, Analytics & AI Solutions partner/IT Services company/Azure Partner or competing technology vendor.
• Basic understanding of Azure, Data & AI and the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
• Experience with Microsoft products and services in a call center environment (>6 months).
• Preferred Advanced User of Office suite. Preferred familiarity with Azure and/or Dynamics products and SKUs.
• Azure Fundamentals (AZ900) to be completed within 2 months of hire date.
