API Platform Engineer (d/f/m)
Fulltime in Soest or remote (HR-6987)

Your new Tasks:

• API Gateway, API Developer Portal and API Lifecycle Management
• Consulting internal and external partners
• You will manage the entire API lifecycle — from requirements analysis and API design to deployment, security, documentation, monitoring and continuous improvement. You will work closely with development teams, enterprise architecture, security, business departments and external partners.
• System integration support during all project phases
• Design, implement and operate secure, scalable and maintainable integration and API management solutions across SAP BTP, webMethods and Azure Integration Services.
• Ensure reliable connectivity between cloud, on-premises and third-party systems, and support automation, monitoring, governance and continuous improvement across the integration landscape.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
• Strong knowledge of API development and API administration
• Ability to talk to partners (vendors, customers) in consulting and implementing integration solutions.
• Good written and spoken english, german beneficial
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach
• SAP Skills (SAP S4/HANA and SAP ECC Integrations, SAP BTP Services, iDoc, oData, RFC/BAPI, CDS Views)
• Development Skills (C#, Git, PowerShell, Java) and pipelines (CI/CD)
• Knowledge in Rest APIs, OpenAPI / Swagger, JSON/XML, Event Driven Architecture, SAP and Azure Integration Skills
• Knowledge in Security (API Security, OAuth2 / JWT, OpenID Connect, TLS / Certificates, Identity management, Secrets management)
